This Privacy Policy applies to the AyoCheck website, LINE / WhatsApp check-in flows, invitations, settings, notifications, contact management, and related services.

AyoCheck is a reminder and coordination tool. It is not a medical device, health monitoring system, telehealth service, or emergency response platform.

2. Data we may collect

We may collect names, nicknames, phone numbers, messaging platform identifiers, language, timezone, country, role, contact relationships, check-in schedules, invitation records, response records, notification records, device and browser basics, and anything else you choose to provide.

3. Why we use data

We use data to create and manage accounts, send check-ins, collect replies, notify contacts, support customer service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third parties and cross-border transfer

We may share necessary data with your family members, caregivers, authorized contacts, and service providers that support hosting, databases, messaging, analytics, or security.

Because our infrastructure and third-party services may operate in different countries, data may be transferred, stored, or processed in Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, or other locations needed to provide the service.

5. Security and risk notice

We take reasonable steps to protect personal data, but no network, cloud platform, or third-party messaging service can guarantee absolute security, zero delay, or zero errors.

Messages and notifications may be delayed, fail, repeat, or be missed because of congestion, APIs, devices, account restrictions, platform policies, maintenance, outages, or force majeure events.
