Terms of Use
These terms define the service nature of AyoCheck, user responsibilities, third-party platform dependency, and the limits of reminder delivery so the service is not mistaken for a medical or emergency system.
1. Acceptance
By using the AyoCheck website, check-in messages, reply flows, invitations, notifications, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
These services are operated by Stella Lin, trading as AyoCheck, based in Australia.
2. Service nature
AyoCheck is a reminder, response collection, and contact coordination tool. It is not a medical service, health monitoring system, emergency dispatch platform, or substitute for professional medical advice.
3. No guarantee of immediate delivery
Reminders, replies, notifications, and escalation flows may be affected by networks, telecom providers, cloud systems, third-party messaging services, devices, permissions, account status, and force majeure. AyoCheck currently relies on pg_cron jobs that run every 5 minutes, so system-triggered notifications may already be delayed by up to 5 minutes.
We do not guarantee that any message will be delivered successfully, delivered on time, delivered only once, or delivered in any particular order. Any escalation delay configured by the user adds further delay before contacts are notified.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your information accurate, maintaining working communication channels, checking contact details and settings, and contacting family members, caregivers, medical providers, or emergency services when real assistance is needed. We strongly recommend configuring at least two emergency contacts to reduce the risk of a single missed notification.
5. Subscription, cancellation and refunds
AyoCheck offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the full service.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from the settings page or via LINE before the next renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Fees already charged are non-refundable on a pro-rata basis, except where required by applicable law or where a material service fault is confirmed by AyoCheck. For billing questions, contact hello@ayocheck.com.
